The tournament also saw the rise of RJ Evans, a 6-foot-7 wing who is already being heavily recruited by several high-major programs. Evans' natural feel for the game, combined with his positional size and length on the perimeter, has made him a player to watch. His performance in the 17U level for Austin Rivers SE Elite, where he scored 32 points, nine rebounds, and four assists in a close loss, has not gone unnoticed by NBA scouts and college coaches. Wabbington is the No. 12 player in the class, according to 247 Sports, and his fall official visits to Arizona, Indiana, Louisville, and Texas, with Kentucky, Baylor, and North Carolina also in the mix, further solidify his status as a top prospect. Lastly, Yann Kamagate, a 7-foot-tall projected NBA prospect with a 7-foot-9 wingspan, has passed the eye test with his size and length.
