After a seven-year break, The Conclave is making a comeback, but this time, it's for the final bow! The programming and talent conference, a staple in the industry, is set to host its last event in September 2026.
The Last Conclave will grace Minneapolis from September 15th to 17th, 2026, with the specific venue still under wraps. Executive Director Emeritus Tom Kay shared a heartfelt message, stating that The Conclave has been a guiding light for radio communicators, both seasoned professionals and aspiring students, for the past 50 years. He noted the changing landscape of the industry and its educational platforms, leading to the difficult decision to conclude this chapter.
Leading the charge for this final event is Conclave Chair Bob Goff, the General Manager and morning host of Heart of Wisconsin Media’s Variety Hits “Wisconsin 106”. Goff promises an agenda packed with the same engaging, ego-free atmosphere that The Conclave is known for. Attendees can anticipate cutting-edge discussions, Q&A sessions, and expert faculty, all designed to provide valuable insights. Plus, expect the usual networking opportunities and entertainment that have become synonymous with The Conclave experience.
